RESTORATION OF AN OUTDOOR CEDAR ROCKING SETEE
The original piece was water-blasted at low pressure so no damage to the soft cedar wood occurred, then hand sanded and finished using a white satin oil-based enamel. Four coats were applied over a five day period - allowing for ample drying time and subsequent sandings between the coats. The result is a piece of outdoor furniture that will be protected from the elements for many years to come.....at an affordable price!
Solid Maple Window Seats (shown without upholstered cushions) were designed for the Port Jefferson Free Library's new building at 150 East Main Street.
